What is a Thread Lift?
Thread lift is a type of procedure in which temporary sutures are used to create a subtle but visible “lift” in the skin. Instead of surgically removing loose skin from a patient’s face, cosmetic surgeons simply remove some of it and suspend it. This causes the skin to pull back slightly and thus lift and tighten the face.
In addition to being ideal for skin lifting, the threads combat aging in another way: by provoking the body’s “healing reaction” and directing large waves of collagen to the treated area of the body. This is important because collagen plays an important role in the aging process.
